Moinho do Caniço is an ancient water mill (more than 200 years old) located in the banks of Baceiro river and with a vast private property near the river, amongst a scenery of leafy vegetation and calmness.

This was the first rural tourism house opening in the Northeast region of Trás-os-Montes and also one of the very first units in the entire country.

The mill features two bedrooms, one of them with two single beds and another one with a double bed (and private bathroom) and also one bunk bed built-in the stone wall near the traditional wood oven. The house also has one living room with a wood stove, one kitchen with a fireplace, one cellar, one ancient mill and an outside barbecue station. The house is rented in its entirety. The house has a full capacity of 6 people.
